Simon’s recent lighting design credits include Little Shop Of Horrors, Singin’ in the Rain and Orpheus In The Underworld at the Cambridge Arts Theatre, Utopia Unlimited at the Minack Theatre, Cornwall, under the blue, blue moon (Cambridge Footlights National Tour) The Threepenny Opera, Merrily We Roll Along, Annie Get Your Gun, Hot Mikado, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Habeas Corpus, Waiting For Godot, (all at the ADC Theatre), Tony Blair The Musical, Astrakhan Winter (“very effective lighting” – British Theatre Guide), Bat Boy The Musical, Macbeth – The Hour, Putting It Together, Peter Pan, and Bloody Poetry (Edinburgh Fringe).
Simon designed the lighting for the 2006 Trinity Ball in Cambridge and was the lighting consultant for the LightHive exhibition at the London Architectural Association. Most recently he programmed the lighting on the London Eye for New Year’s Eve 2007/2008 and the launch of the Fiat 500.
