Vicky Povey - Costume Design
Before graduating from Wimbledon School of Art with a BA in Costume Design in 2005, Vicky was employed by the Tate Britain to design and create a Venetian based carnival costume to play a part in their ‘Venice’ Exhibition.
Costume Design credits include ‘A Hole in the Fence’ (White Bear Theatre), ‘Lone Star/ Private Wars’ (Kings Head Theatre), ‘Toys ‘R’ Us Commercial’ (Pulse Films Productions), ‘Send in the Boys’ (‘Milburn’ Pop Video) and most recently ‘In the Middle’ (‘Ashok’ Music Video).
Costume Assistant/ Maker credits include ‘A Christmas Carol’ (Chicken Shed Theatre Co.), ‘How I learned to love Richard Gere’ (Anointed Productions), ‘Bowl Cut’ (Pulse Film Productions), ‘Yippee 2006’ (The Featherstonehaughts & The Cholomondeleys) Guardian Nominated Best Costume 2006.
She is currently designing costumes for ‘Word:Play’ at the Union Theatre.
