Now that the concert showcase has been completed, the production team has a brief moment to breathe a sigh of relief before launching into preparations for an Autumn show in London and Edinburgh 2009.  Meanwhile Paul and Damian embark upon the big task of pulling together the script and condensing the show into a fringe size piece...

We have been rehearsing hard over the past month to prepare for the concert showcase and things are coming together nicely. We have confirmed the Shaw Theatre (near Euston and King's Cross) as our venue and are all excited about the first public preview of Rubbish! Ticket details are set out on the concert showcase page of this website.

Congratulations are in order for our composer Damian who has just finished working on a major documentary 'JK Rowling a year in the life' which will be aired on ITV over the Christmas period. He today starts sound design work on the weird and wonderful world of 'The Mighty Boosh' for BBC3/2.

We'd like to wish Paul Kerensa, one of our writers, good luck for the British Comedy Awards tonight; one the programmes he's working on, 'Not Going Out', has been nominated for best sitcom.

Bit of a gap in updates but the team remains busy... Damian started music rehearsals back in November and has been putting the soloists through their paces. We hope to get some sound clips from rehearsals up soon.

Meanwhile Sam has been concentrating on starting the push for Edinburgh 2008, beginning with the essentials: finding the cast and crew a home for the month of August!

Alex has been hard at it negotiating with some top venues to find the perfect space for the Rubbish! concert. She has secured a spot in a great west end theatre and is in the process of confirming dates at the moment - details will be posted soon so you can save space in your diaries!
